The Drawing Process

Back in New York City we meet to finish the drawings.

Molly draws. And draws. And draws.

Kim does the scanning. Look how happy she looks? Scanning is SO fun! She is thinking, "Please take my picture while I scan! Oh please! I love when you take my picture while I scan. I love it SO MUCH!"

Molly draws. And draws. And draws.

Kim scans and color corrects and splices the images together in the computer. Looks like she could use some chocolate.

Somebody should tell Kim not to wear her hair in that stupid ponytail.

It's ALIVE!!!

Whiskey is an important part of any animation. Whiskey and razor blades.

Skype Meeting!

Molly and Kim and Jim meet on Skype to plan more. Molly will draw and draw, Jim will do test animations, Kim will crack the whip and prepare the absinthe.

Things get meta silly when Jim and Kim and Molly start to use reflective objects (like whiskey flasks and iphones) to reflect the skype image back into the computer camera, creating loops of images that are travelling back and forth across the world.

The internet is amazing.
